As well, we urge you to pass this "Global Call to G8 Leaders" to your friends and colleagues.
An additional $US10.2 billion is needed yearly to provide basic health services for women, newborns and children in developing countries: That is what the world spends every 2.5 days on military expenditures. The "Global Call to Leaders" has been developed by the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, in collaboration with its 250 member organizations around the world.
