June 2009 E-Update
We, at the Partnership Secretariat, are pleased to share with you the following update on our current collaborative action. More and more positive news are coming out on the greater recognition of the needs for more political and financial commitments to improve maternal, newborn and child health in developing countries.
We are excited to further advocate among our members about our New Work plan and Strategy 2009-2011, as communicated to all partners via our Board Chair's Letter. This month we are convening meetings with our Donor/Foundations' Constituency group as well as groups of "Lead" partners in Priority Action areas, to further streamline our resource mobilization activities and implementation of the work plan.
We will be glad to spread news and achievements of our partners in moving forward towards MDGs 4 & 5. We hope that you'll find below update useful and look forward for more views and news from you.
