In order to encourage legislators to act, the IPU has published a Handbook for Parliamentarians entitled Taking action against HIV and AIDS. This Handbook, produced jointly with UNAIDS and UNDP, is both a call for parliamentary leadership and a reference book to which legislators and their staff may turn for guidance on specific issues in the response to HIV and AIDS. The Spanish version of this publication is now available and the French version will be published later this month.
Afin d'encourager les législateurs à agir, l'UIP a publié un guide pour les parlementaires intitulé Agir contre le VIH et le sida. Cette publication, produite conjointement avec l'ONUSIDA et le PNUD, est à la fois un appel à l’initiative parlementaire et un ouvrage auquel les législateurs et leurs collaborateurs pourront se référer pour donner des réponses aux questions concrètes qui se posent dans la lutte contre le VIH et le sida. La version en espagnol est disponible et la version française paraîtra ce mois-ci.
