Overview
The death of a mother or a child is a personal, family, national and human tragedy that could, in most cases be prevented by applying known strategies and approaches. The impact on human capital is immense and can be avoided by using simple interventions.
This publication, the first of its kind, presents us with the figures and facts of where, when and why women and children are dying in Namibia over the past years. We hope that it will serve the purpose of galvanizing action from all segments of the Namibian society, mobilized around one shared goal: saving mothers and children’s lives.
