MMM-R: New maternal mortality website launched
Immpact has launched a new website as a central source of maternal mortality measurement information and resources. It is targeted towards research scientists, programme managers, health professionals, policy makers and others involved in safe motherhood work.
The new MMM-R site aims to provide:
- comprehensive information in a central location on approaches to measuring maternal mortality
- guidance on selecting specific tools, methods and approaches to measuring levels, trends, and causes of maternal mortality
- up-to-date information on developments, publications and events related to maternal mortality measurement
Funding for MMM-R is through Immpact, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Department for International Development, the European Commission and USAID.
