Investing in health for Africa: The case for strengthening systems for better health outcomes
APRIL 2011 - Published by the "Harmonization for Health in Africa" initiative (HHA) in collaboration with PMNCH, this report argues that Africa’s current economic growth can be improved if concerted efforts are made to improve the continent’s health care systems. The report says investing in the African health sector could help save millions of lives and prevent life-long disabilities. -

Opportunities for Africa's newborns: Practical data, policy and programmatic support for newborn care in Africa
NOVEMBER 2006 - Opportunities for Africa’s Newborns, brought together data and analysis from a team of 60 authors and nine international organizations from the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, (PMNCH), led by Saving Newborn Lives/ Save the Children. The Report crystallized the magnitude of the newborn crisis in Africa, with the Report being published and distributed worldwide in French as well as Portuguese. -
