About P4H
Providing for Health (P4H) was launched during the G8 Summit in Heiligendamm 2007. Working through a network of international partners, P4H is aiming in particular to address the incapacity of poor people living in low- and middle-income countries to access quality health services.
This includes coordinated support for Social health protection (SHP) policy and strategy development, as well as harmonized international collaboration at country, regional and global level for establishing equitable and efficient health financing systems based on prepayment and financial risk protection.
