This statement comes form the June 2005 meeting of experts, convened by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), to review the scientific evidence on the carcinogenic risks to humans posed by combined estrogenprogestogen oral contraceptives (COCs) and combined estrogen-progestogen hormonal menopausal therapy.
