overview
This is a report based on the meeting of the WHO Regional Advisers in Reproductive Health, held in Geneva, Switzerland, in August 2000. WHO seeks to enhance the capability of countries to define their needs and priorities in sexual and reproductive health and respond appropriately to the evolving challenges. The framework presented in this document is derived from the obligation to respond to variable sexual and reproductive health situations, issues and trends in the regions, and to draw up action plans which take into account evidence from research and experience in programme implementation.
