Measuring access to reproductive health services : Report of a WHO/UNFPA technical consultation

This document presents a summary report of a WHO/UNFPA technical consultation held in Geneva in 2003 to agree on a set of indicators to provide a framework similar to that for the Millennium Development Goals for reporting on progress towards the goal of universal access to sexual and reproductive health care. The meeting also reviewed strategies for measuring and monitoring those indicators and potential sources of data and agreed on a programme of action for the further development of the work.
