This annual publication is intended in particular for scientists. It describes in detail all the work done by the Department in 2005. The report covers all areas of the Department’s work, including: promoting family planning; improving maternal and perinatal health; controlling sexually transmitted and reproductive tract infections; preventing unsafe abortion; gender issues, sexual health and reproductive rights; and promoting the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents.
