This is the first biennial technical report of the WHO Department of Reproductive Health and Research. The report provides scientific and technical details on the full range of activities undertaken in both 2005 and 2006 by the UNDP/UNFPA/WHO/World Bank Special Programme of Research, Development and Research Training in Human Reproduction (HRP) as well as the Programme Development in Reproductive Health (PDRH) component of the Department.
