Social science methods for research on sexual and reproductive health

These guidelines focus on the sexual and reproductive health (SRH) issues of greatest public health and social concern, where action and intervention are likely to bring about change. Aimed at trained social scientists as well as biomedical and other scientists with an interest in social science research, this book contains practical advice on how to plan and conduct social science research in sexual and reproductive health.

Social determinants of sexual and reproductive health

The chapters included in this volume were commissioned to describe the evidence of a relationship between the social determinants of interest and sexual and reproductive health, as well as to describe promising programmes which seek specifically to reduce observed inequities in health and/or address social structures which inhibit access to and use of sexual and reproductive health services.
