Using national resources to finance contraceptive procurement
OVERVIEW
Many countries are beginning to use their own national resources, whether from internally generated funding or from other sources such as World Bank loans or basket funds, to finance contraceptives. The USAID | DELIVER PROJECT conducted a survey to determine to what extent this type of financing is being used in developing countries. This brief describes the survey findings and offers a general discussion of such financing.
