Calendar of activities around the world

Governments, international agencies, civil society organizations, private companies - all of us who travel the world's roads - are encouraged to plan and host an event on 11 May 2011 marking the official launch of the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020. This calendar of activities around the world represents a listing of activities reported to WHO by country. Although the list is not exhaustive, it is hoped that it will facilitate the coordination of events taking place in the same city or country and inform and inspire others to join these events or host events of their own. Please note that the information received about an event will not be edited, and will be presented in the language in which it was received.

Activities posted on the Decade's web site are not endorsed by WHO, but are listed as a service to our readers. In no event shall WHO be liable for any damages arising from the use of the information provided. WHO may use its discretion about listing organizations on the Decade's web site; should there be any doubt as to the legitimacy or reliability of an organization, the organization's event will not be included.
