Road Safety Program

The Government of Andorra, with local governments support, has a Road Safety Program for school children from 4 to 16. During this week, four proposals related to the goal of this 2nd Road Safety Week will be carried out.
Activities description:
1."Local police visit us": With audiovisual support, local police agents remember school children what precautions have to take on the street.
2."Now we practice on the traffic playground": After local police talk, children adopt either pedestrian or driver role (as a cyclists) and put into practice on a traffic playground what they have learned. (For children from 4 to 8).
3."Now we practice on the street". Under local police monitoring, children from 9 to 12 make a tour around their school and observe the pedestrians and drivers behaviour. They have to fill in specific forms and draw conclusions.
4."Road Show": A theatre group made up of grandparents stages pedestrian misbehaviour. After that they have a discussion with school children.

Representaciones teatralizadas de situaciones frecuentes con peatones, a cargo de un grupo de personas mayores de 65 años.
Objetivos:
Concienciar a los ciudanos y en especial a las personas mayores i los niños:
-sobre la necesidad de no tomar riesgos inecesarios y de anticiparse a los peligros.
-sobre la necesidad de respetarse los unos con los otros para favorecer una buena convivencia ciudadana y respetar la normativa existente
Conscienciar, respetar i mantener en buenas condiciones los espacios públicos, favorercer el trànsito a pie y minimizar peligros de los peatones.
