Children's Road Safety Graduation
6-12 May 2013, Safe Way Right Way
Road Safety Graduation of children in a public primary school in Nairobi and issuing of reflectors for enhanced visibility. Total Group through local subsidiary has donated safety cubes with learning materials and practical aids for teaching of road safety in 20 public primary schools in Nairobi, Mombasa and Gigil counties with an enrollment of over 16,000. Children go through three lessons on learning rule so f the road, moving safely and protecting themselves at all times. Students sit a brief exam and practical session

School Children Safety with Lollipop Project
6-7 May 2013, Vivo Energy Kenya

Lollipop project supported by Vivo Energy provides safe crossing of roads to selected schools in Nairobi, Kisumu and Mombasa. On the 7th May 2013, we shall launch the program to 3 news schools in those cities. Later in the day, we shall hold a safety procession and establish and paint new zebra crossing areas in selected locations

Pedestrian safety
6-9 May 2013, ASIRT

On 6th May 2013 we shall do a press briefing with the aim of creation public awareness of the week.Later in the day, we shall paint a new Zebra crossing near Kasarani primary school. On 7th May 2013 we shall conduct a "long short walk" with corporate Managers of companies located along Mombasa road and celebrities.This will be geared to creating public awareness. ASIRT Kenya supported by I&M Bank on a school safety program shall issues 1000 reflective sashes on 9th May 2013 to school pupils of Kasarani Primary with the aim of increasing their visibility on the road and this shall be followed by a "long short walk".
