Disease Control Priorities Project (DCP2)
Tuberculosis treatment, one of the ten "best buys" in public health
Findings of the Disease Control Priorities Project were presented on 3 April at a Global Health Conference in Beijing, China. The DCPP forms part of a trio of new books from the Fogarty International Center of the U.S. National Institutes of Health, the World Bank, and the World Health Organization, which outline a stark picture of the current and future state of health in low- and middle-income countries. DCPP assessed, among other things, the ten best buys in public health, including the treatment of tuberculosis.
