The interim policy on collaborative TB/HIV activities provides the type of activities and the circumstances under which they need to implement. The Global TB/HIV Working Group has been forging the collaboration between the HIV/AIDS and TB control programmes, nurturing the evidence-base and promoting experience sharing for the provision of optimal patient-centred prevention and care for HIV-infected TB patients.
