Other information
- Prof Mills has over 30 years’ experience in health-economics related research in low and middle income countries, with extensive involvement in supporting capacity development. She chairs the Board of the Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research; has advised many multilateral and bilateral agencies; was a member of the Commission on Macro-economics and Health and co-chair of its working group 'Improving the health outcomes of the poor'; and was a member of the US Institute of Medicine committee on the economics of anti-malarial drugs. In 2006 she was awarded a CBE for services to medicine and elected Foreign Associate of the IOM.
