The social science and gender thematic reference group considers the social, gender, cultural, economic and policy-related issues affecting infectious diseases of poverty. It is hosted by the WHO Country Office for Ghana.

Health systems and implementation research (TRG 3)

The Health systems and Implementation research thematic reference group considers the interactions between the infectious diseases of poverty and the delivery of and implementation of interventions. It is hosted by the WHO Country Office for Nigeria.


Environment, agriculture and infectious diseases of poverty (TRG 4)

The environment, agriculture and infectious diseases thematic reference group is working to identify research priorities that can reduce infectious disease transmission while generating environmental co-benefits (e.g. in terms of biodiversity, climate change, land use, water quality and consumption, etc). The group is hosted by the WHO Country Office for the People's Republic of China.
