A panel discussion on implementation research is being webcast live during the National Institutes of Health 4th Annual Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation: Policy and Practice. In a session moderated by the National Cancer Institute’s Dr. Russell Glasgow, TDR scientist Dr Jane Kengeya Kayondo and three others will discuss their work and how their organizations are facilitating translation and moving research into practice. They include

Jeremy Grimshaw of the Canadian Cochrane Network and Centre, University of Ottawa, Canada; Vikram Patel, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK and Sangath Center, India; and Sharon E. Straus, Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, St. Michael’s Hospital, University of Toronto, Canada.

The panelists will explore several international perspectives on dissemination and implementation, new developments and future directions, and potential training and collaboration opportunities. In the days following the video cast, there will be an opportunity to engage with the speakers in virtual discussion on the Research to Reality R2R web site (https://researchtoreality.cancer.gov), host of this event.
