Summary

In July 1998, a meeting was convened to review the results of a study that compared 14-day versus 7-day treatment of late stage T. b. gambiense African trypanosomiasis using the drug Eflornithine. This report highlights the results from the study, and presents the conclusions and recommendations made by the meeting participants.
