Summary

An informal meeting was held in Geneva, 14-16 February, 1996 under the sponsorship of Filariasis Operational Research Task Force of the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR) and the Filariasis Unit of the Division of Control of Tropical Diseases (CDT). The participants included experts in epidemiologie modeling, clinicians, parasitologists, entomologists, epidemiologists, public health planners and members of the WHO secretariat, (ANNEX 1).
