Eighth Session of the UN Ad Hoc Interagency Task Force on Tobacco Control
The United Nations Ad Hoc Interagency Task Force on Tobacco Control held its eighth session 18-19 February 2010 in New York. The task force reviewed ongoing projects and ways of strengthening and extending collaboration among United Nations organs. The session covered issues related to tobacco and human rights, indigenous populations, gender, women and reproductive health and the implementation of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.
