WHO Tobacco Free Initiative
Lizzie Tecson, Administrative Assistant
Lizzie Tecson serves as the WHO Tobacco Free Initiative's administrative assistant. Her areas of responsibility include administrative and operational services, logistics and human resources. She also facilitates cross-cutting support for the department.
Before joining WHO in 2001, she worked in different administrative fields in the Philippines. During the negotiation of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, she was the administrative and logistics focal point for the department. She has organized several tobacco control conferences, including awareness-raising meetings in the various WHO regions.
She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a specialization in management and marketing from the Philippines Women's University. She is studying towards a certificate in public health management.
