Smoke fee Environment
Dhaka, Bangladesh, 25 May - 1 June 2007

I am just a student trying to do something to fight smoking in public places. I downloaded some posters from WHO's web site and other anti tobacco websites and printed and posted them on the notice boards of my University. In this University of about a 1000 students and 100 teachers, more than 90% are cigarette smokers. I got diverse reaction to my initiative while many (smokers) were insulting me, very few were touched by it and they told me that they will do something about it. So that's how I contribute to this day. If you like I will be glad to send you my own poster which I designed using the WHO logo of smoke free environment.
