World No Tobacco Day - 2007

The World No Tobacco Day will also be celebrated in all 26 states and the Federal District in events organized by the State and Municipal Health Secretariats, in partnership with the National Health Surveillance Agency and governmental and non-governmental organizations. The events will include workshops with health professionals, speeches at schools and universities, hikes and the distribution of brochures, folders, posters and t-shirts in bars, restaurants, shopping malls, schools and working places to raise awareness about social, political, economical, and environmental damages related to tobacco use.
