To mark WNTD celebration in Lao PDR, the Ministry of Health, the City of Luang Prabang, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Southeast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance (SEATCA), will launch smoke free Luang Prabang, a world heritage site. The regulation banning smoking in all indoor and outdoor of workplaces, public transport and major public places. Luang Prabang has ancient architectures, murals, temples and buildings that need to be preserved and protected from tobacco smoke.
