Tobacco Free Environment

Through musical and sport performances and activities of health care workers, a message will be sent to the public that homes, working and public places should be 100% smoke free. Besides the Minister of Health, famous sports people, artists and children, will share their thoughts and attitudes about smoke-free environment with citizens of the capital city of Serbia. WNTD 2007 will be announced by printed and electronic media. Similar activities will be organized in cities all over Serbia.

"High Noon Clash With Tobacco"
Serbia, Sombor, Republic of Serbia, 1 May - 15 June 2007
From the beginning of May the pupils in all elementary schools in Sombor community (100.000 inhabitants, 6 schools in town and in 13 villages), have been asked to create drawings about tobacco free environments. The exhibitions of the best drawings are being held within the schools and the selection of best ones will be presented on the central exhibition in Dom ucenika (Pupil's hostel) in Sombor. The opening ceremony will take place on the 31st of May at 12 o'clock. The best drawings will be awarded.
