Country engagements
The World Health Organization (WHO) and Ministry of Finance Uganda engaged in 2010 during the WHO African Regional training workshop on tobacco taxation and continue working with tax and revenue authorities during 2011 by examining the areas of improvement in Uganda tobacco tax system, administration and implementation issues. A report of this study was presented jointly by the Ministry of Finance and WHO to the Director of Tax Authority of Uganda in 2011.
