Workshops and meetings
WHO has been undertaking a number of trainings on tobacco taxation at regional and subregional levels for Ministry of Finance officials. The purpose of those workshops is to to improve knowledge and capacity of officials on tobacco taxation and raise awareness of the effectiveness of this policy both in terms of tobacco use reduction and revenue collection.
