WHO workshop for CEOs of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union)

As part of the partnership and work between the World Health Organization (WHO) and The Union, WHO held a tax workshop in Paris on 11 June 2009 for The Union CEOs visiting from a number of countries. The aim of the workshop was to equip each participant with knowledge and skills to understand economics of tobacco control and taxation and how tobacco taxation works, their impact on consumption and revenues, and understand more illicit trade.
