Public Hearings on the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control
Overview
This web site contains submissions from interested parties for the public hearings on the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, 12-13 October 2000. The purpose of the public hearings is to provide an opportunity for interested parties to make their views known before the start of the inter-governmental negotiations on the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control. The interested parties that could provide submissions to the public hearings were private sector and non-governmental organizations and institutions.
The views that are expressed in the submissions are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies of the World Health Organization.
WHO has posted on this web site all eligible submissions as they were received. It should be noted that the submissions have been listed alphabetically. This list does not correspond to the eventual order of testimony during the public hearings.
