Tobacco Free Initiative (TFI)

Smoke-Free Americas project

A project – ‘Smoke-Free Americas’ was launched in 2001 by the Pan American Health Organization to support efforts to reduce exposure to second-hand tobacco smoke in the Americas. The initiative provides technical co-operation to governments that wish to implement smoke free environments, and a wide range of resources to assist advocates, parents, communities and the public in creating smoke free environments where they live and work.
