In 2011, IVR announced that it would combine its annual meeting on clinical trials evaluating pandemic influenza vaccines with its biennial meeting on influenza vaccines that induce broad spectrum and long-lasting immune responses. The First WHO Integrated Meeting on development and clinical trials of Influenza vaccines that induce broadly protective and long-lasting immune responses will be organized in Hong Kong on 24-26 January 2013.
