Request for Small Grants Application
Eligibility
The applicant should be an African citizen, hold an advanced degree in a relevant field, and be a fulltime professional employee of an African University, a government research institution, a not-for-profit research institution, or a non-governmental organization. Priority will be given to applicants who have previously participated in AAVP sponsored training workshops and for research studies that apply concepts or techniques from these training workshop.
All applicants will be expected to devote sufficient time to the research study, must have their Institutional support and their government approval, and have access to the necessary infrastructure to carry out their proposed research activities. South to South collaborations within Africa to enhance the objectives of this grant, promote mentorship, and the success of the proposed study are encouraged.
