Human Subjects, Radiation Safety and Environmental Health Issues
All research conducted under this award that involves human subjects shall follow appropriate international guidelines for research in human subjects as stated in the Ethical Principles and Guidelines for the Protection of Human Subjects of Research or the Belmont report. The inclusion of women is particularly encouraged. The protocol shall also be reviewed by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of participating Institutions and given the appropriate approval. All research must be performed in accordance with the relevant institutional and national policies and guidelines relating to radiation and environmental health and safety.
