| The WHO Department of Vaccines
& Biologicals (V&B) offers educational resources, as well as practical assistance,
for the development and training of personnel involved in all aspects of planning,
managing and implementing the delivery of immunization services. Responding to the varied
needs of Regions and countries, V&B takes a flexible approach to develop a wide range
of creative and innovative educational/training material that can be adapted for different
needs and environments. The aim is to improve staff skills within the limits of available
national resources, and in line with national Health Sector priorities. The resources provided below can assist countries and Regions
wanting to equip staff to cope with the changes brought about by Health Sector reform. In
addition to disseminating current technical knowledge and policy guidelines, resources are
provided to help training in management, decision-making, problem-solving and
communication skills. References are also offered to help start and operate health
services training programmes at national, subnational and district levels.
