Policy on violence and health
The World Medical Association General Assembly adopted a policy, in September 2003, on violence and health. The statement encourages the medical profession to contribute to more systematic approaches to dealing with violence, including data collection, medical training, prevention, research and the co-ordination of victim assistance.
