- In December 2003 the Ministry of Health published a Belgian national report on violence and health. The report reviews Belgian data and knowledge about youth violence, child abuse and neglect, intimate partner violence, elder abuse, sexual violence, and suicide. The final chapter is devoted to the public health structure for the prevention of violence currently in place in Belgium. This report will serve as a foundation to develop a national multisectoral Plan for Action for Violence Prevention.
