Accountability for Women’s and Children’s Health

MNCH score card

Maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH) score cards are available for each of the 75 high-burden countries where 95% of the global maternal and child deaths occur. These score cards portray the subnational level variations in coverage of maternal and child health programmes. Each country score card presents a set of 11 basic indicators recommended by the Commission of Information and Accountability (COIA) for Women’s and Children’s Health. Subnational level data presented in these score cards have been obtained from the latest published Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) and Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS). Columns in these score cards are blank for indicators where data are not available after 2005.
