Richard Horton and Joy Phumaphi, iERG Co-Chairs, were among the keynote speakers.
The MDG Health Alliance, the United Nations Foundation, PMNCH, and the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria in close co-operation with the Office of the UN Secretary-General organized a celebratory reception followed by dinner. The reception brought together leaders from government, civil society, the private sector and international organizations, in New York, during the UN General Assembly high-level week. The UN Secretary-General was the official host for the evening.
