Implementation of the Workplan: materials from WHO and partners

• First partner progress report on implementation of the Commission's recommendations: translating recommendations into action
  This is a preliminary report covering activities that have been carried out since November 2011, when the Strategic Workplan was endorsed in a stakeholders’ meeting in Ottawa, co-hosted by the Government of Canada and WHO. This report is prepared to inform the independent Expert Review Group for its progress report to the United Nations Secretary-General.

• Countdown to 2015: Accountability for Maternal, Newborn & Child Survival
  The 2012 report provides updated profiles on high-burden priority countries that account for over 95% of maternal and child deaths. The core indicators included in these profiles are selected in 2011 by the Accountability Commission and encompass key elements of the reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health continuum of care.
