2nd Forum on Human Resources for Health, 2011: Online survey consultation
The Alliance online survey on the thematic focus of the 2nd Global HRH Forum closed on 25 September with a total of 183 responses. The results and comments provide an essential source for the further development of the conference. The final report provides a detailed analysis of the responses and the comments.
Background
The Secretariat of the Alliance has initiated the process of identifying a thematic focus for the Second Global Forum on HRH, jointly co-hosted by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Prince Mahidol Award (PMA) of Thailand. The Forum is scheduled to take place in Bangkok, Thailand, during the first quarter of 2011.
During the first consultation held in Geneva in July 2009, the Alliance Secretariat was tasked to solicit the active participation of the global human resources for health (HRH) community and especially its members and partners in the selection of the Forum theme and sub-themes by providing the relevant ratings and rankings along with recommendations.
