The Global Health Workforce Alliance 2014 Annual Report
In 2014 the Global Health Workforce Alliance (GHWA) Secretariat, in close collaboration with its members and partners, focused its work on followup actions to take forward the momentum generated at the Third Global Forum on Human Resources for Health, held in Recife, Brazil, in November 2013. Priority activities included taking forward the policy dialogue on the Recife Political Declaration through the World Health Organization (WHO) governing bodies; undertaking an analysis and conducting a follow-up of the human resources for health (HRH) commitments made at the conference; and, most significantly, facilitating the collation of evidence in support of the development of a global strategy on human resources for health.
