Continuing education meetings and workshops: effects on professional practice and health care outcomes

The objective of the review is to assess the effects of educational meetings on professional practices and resulting outcomes. Educational meeting such as conferences, lectures workshops, courses seminars and symposia are used for improving the professional practices.
The review concludes that educational meetings alone or combined with other interventions can improve professional practices and healthcare outcomes for the patients.
