Working together: addressing the health workforce crisis

This report contains the proceedings of a meeting organized in Cairo with the countries in the Eastern Mediterranean Region facing a health workforce crisis.
The document outlines the need for both general and country-specific steps requisite to planning and implementing human resources development plans. Furthermore it describes the main elements of a collaboration between GHWA and WHO EMRO in addressing the HRH crisis in 8 countries in the region.
