The Kampala Declaration represents the consensus of the participants of the first Global Forum on Human Resource for Health, convened by the Global Health Workforce Alliance in Kampala, Uganda, in 2008.
The meeting participants identified 12 priority areas on which they called upon Governments, development partners, international agencies, academia, civil society, the private sector and other stakeholders to take action to address the health workforce crisis.
