The aim of the country profile is to provide comprehensive data about HRH situation in the country. The country profile provides data on health work force, distribution of health workforces by categories/cadres, health workforces production and utilization and governance of health systems.
Nigerian health system includes orthodox, alternative and traditional systems of health care delivery regulated by the Government. There are wide disparities in the health status, service delivery and distribution of resources between different regions of the country.
